Mini Review

Data Quota is a simple application that measures the amount of GPRS / 3G  packet data your mobile has used for a billing period. It does not consider WiFi data. The billing date can be set and the data usage will be reset at the start of the new billing cycle. The quota allowed can also be configured in Megabytes. The application displays the data sent, data received and the total data used in the billing cycle.

Dataquota has been created by hugovk and the latest version 0.1.5 is available at the Google Code home page for dataquota.

Conclusion

Its a Must Have for mobile internet subscribers who do not have unlimited data plans but plans where they are charged on per-Megabyte usage. I’ll give it 5 of 5 for its great utility value and simplicity of use.

P.S. This is a new category called Mini Review which gives us the opportunity to introduce our readers to more applications. These applications are not big enough to warrant a full review with all headings and images but are nevertheless hopefully useful to you. Let us know how you like the idea of Mini Reviews in the comments!
